Camp Memories
Our Mission & Philosophy

Mission
A mindful, community-based 5-week summer camp to encourage:
⏭ Leadership
⏭ Critical thinking
⏭ Camper-led workshops and initiatives
We aim to create a network of local families that cooperate for kids and adults alike, fostering a deeper sense of community and connection.
Our Vision

Core Vision
1. Reconnect: Establish a national network of deep friendships that span across the country.
2. Opportunities for kids: Let children enjoy the depth of their parents' and grandparents' networks.
3. Celebrate Desi culture: Honoring the traditions brought by immigrants in the 1990s — rooted in thousands of years of religious, artistic, and cultural community.
In 2025, we aim to build and connect on Desi vibes, beyond just party lines and food.

Fun Story — Why Camp Jungalee?

After 2020, and several years of mom camps, the climate of 2023 felt chaotic — Camp Jungalee is our antidote — a mindful community reboot to bring back real friendships and leadership opportunities for our kids.
Let's create the junglee (wild) camp vibes we always wanted as kids, where kids roam, lead, and connect.
Cost
Coop-style contributions will be requested and encouraged (e.g., bringing meals, running activities).
